Why Choose OLM

Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School opened its doors in the year 2012 and continues the outstanding legacy of Catholic education that was started in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia over 230 years ago.  OLM is a joint ministry of St. Alphonsus Parish (Maple Glen), Saint Catherine of Siena Parish (Horsham), St. Anthony of Padua Parish (Ambler) and St. Joseph Parish (Ambler).  Our School is one of the jewels in the crown of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It sparkles with the laughter of children, the joy of learning, the light of loving parents and teachers. It our short history, OLM has mushroomed into an expansive academic complex-complete with a state-of-the-art science lab, library, extended care program, computer lab, and dedicated rooms of instruction for music, art, and Spanish.

More than 425 children - in grades K through eight-attend Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School. A dedicated staff of over 30 lay professionals work in partnership with parents to provide our school children with a faith-based education that focuses on academic excellence and the development of Catholic values.

Most importantly, under the guidance and leadership of Principal Mr. John C. McGrath, our children are actively engaged in public service from the time they enter kindergarten until they leave the eighth grade. Each graduate of OLM has left as a young Disciple of Christ-a shining reflection of His loving light.  Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School is deeply committed to presenting educational opportunities and challenges that lead to solid student achievement.
